Web app (Re-design Development)
eCommerce is a React App utilizing the React Context API and React Hooks. The base of the app is built to be a boilerplate for future React projects; including the Airbnb style guide, Eslint, and Prettier, Enzyme and Jest testing, and OAuth through an in-company service.
Utilizing headless CMS Znode, I collaborated with a senior contractor and product designer to implement the re-design of our site, to keep it in line with updated brand guidelines. The re-design also gave us a great excuse to refactor a lot of the CSS.
Web app (Design)
I was responsible for wireframing and prototyping across all stages of the design process. I conducted user interviews, usability tests, and reported research to stakeholders, making the appropriate changes to designs along the way.
Because this is still in beta, I’m unable to show more visuals/details online. Would be happy to share more details, if you want to reach out to me directly.CMS (Design & Development)
HealthStream Community functions as our support community and a place for our customer success managers to host best practice documentation for our customers. They are created using HTML, CSS, jQuery, built-in widgets, and oAuth through an incompany service.
I’ve designed and launched 20+ microsites. In addition to creating style guides, designing, and developing these sites, I’ve also set up Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and worked with our partners to track utilization.
I’ve worked closely with the User Engagement manager to set up the initial design and UX for the site, as well as a recent re-design to align with updated company brand guidelines.
UX and CX Strategy
Participated in Hack for the Community and was placed on the Nashville Shakespeare Festival team as a designer.
Our team worked to develop the necssary back-end structure for NSF to import personal data from a survey directly into Salesforce. I did a UX audit on their current survey to increase quality and quantity of responses.
Additonally, we created custom branded QR codes, a linktree account, and created a ‘happy path’ for their event-goers to easily become donators.
Project Management and UX Design
Here is a little peak at one of my favorite projects from Nashville Software School bootcamp.
Day Out, or do., is a Tinder style app that allows users to "match" with new points of interest in the Nashville area. Using data from data.nashville.gov, do. pulls from Nashville's Public Art, Historical Markers, and Parks data.
Even though we had just one week to design and develop it, I remember it fondly as the most fun group project that I was a part of at NSS. Our projects were rated by local tech affiliates. We ended up winning and were invited to demo it at a local tech meetup.
